There are two fishing lakes stocked with Carp, Bream, Rud and Tench.
The older of the two lakes has a priority disabled fishing platform. This lake has good access for most disability scooters via a ramp from the car park and access paths.
Day tickets for fishing during daylight hours, and 24hour night fishing tickets are available for sale from the campsite reception April to October and by arrangement during the winter.
There is a limited number of night fishing pegs and these must be pre-booked.
Goodas Barn is next door to Suffolk Wildlife Trust Darsham Marshes Nature
Reserve where is there is a wide diversity of wildlife.
The farm and campsite itself is a haven for wildlife.
We work with our neighbours to create and enhance wildlife habitats. A wetland scrape area was created next to the new fishing lake which acts as a wildlife refuge but can still be easily seen from the fields.
Many trees and hedging plants have been planted to create wildlife corridors. This has resulted in a wide variety of animals, birds and wild flowers thriving on the site.
